A half-day event for UK talent agents

As we wait for both legislative changes and the conclusion of negotiations between Equity and PACT, talent agents in the UK are attempting to hold back the tide as their clients’ creativity faces the challenge of AI manipulation, learning and reproduction. Project-by-project, case-by-case, clause-by-clause.

Join Kelly Andrews for a half-day of AI related brainstorming.

Kelly will take you through the basic terminology of the varying AI algorithms as well as both the promise, and problems, of AI for the arts. She will provide a report on “current thinking by production” and open the floor to discussions about how we support production requirements specifically not generally.

Finally, she will look at the current framework of talent contracting and what existing legislation agents might use to “tool up” for the conversation going forwards.

“In my new life my clients are you, agents and casting directors.   Often someone will say, at the end of the session, “before we go, can we just talk a bit about AI?” Well, I have a lot more time now for reading and researching and with the advent of AI personalities seeking representation, it seems like the conversation is actually here.  So I hope you'll join me, in London, on the 25th of November to “just talk a bit about AI”.”
